Discovering Your Perfect Belt Size
A Comprehensive Guide
When it comes to achieving the ideal fit for your belt, measuring one you already own is the key.
Follow these simple steps for accurate results:
Lay It Out:
Place your well-fitted belt on a clean, flat surface.
Starting Point:
Initiate the measurement from your preferred hole, extending the tape to the belt's end where it meets the buckle.
Precision Counts:
Make sure to round up belt measurements to the nearest inch because our belts are measured in inches.
For example, if a belt measures 32.4 inches, you would round it up to 33 inches.
Finding Your Perfect Belt Size: A Tailored Approach
1. Thread the tape measure through your trouser belt loops. Make sure to measure where your pants are going to sit—whether it's on your hips, waist, or somewhere in-between.
2. Stand naturally without exaggerating your posture
3. Keep the measuring tape snug against your body. Let's say you measure around your hip and the tape measure reads 37.5 inches.
4. Round the measurement to the nearest inch, which would be 38 inches.
5. Choose the belt size that is closest to this rounded measurement, with 38 inches the belt size 28 with 39 inches is the perfect fit.
Note: This technique aligns with the measuring standards of Skin on Skins Belts, featuring 5 holes. Keep in mind, other makers may have different measuring standards.
